Trachelectomy scheduled almost 3 years after partial hysterectomy

Hello,

My surgery is scheduled for 9/7/10. I had a partial hysterectomy in 10/2007 and have had "mini periods" since about 3 months post op. I had hoped that they would go away, but they haven't and are getting more and more painful.

I went to a "Pelvic Pain Specialist" that says my cervix may be the problem. I am hoping this is true so that I can be done with it!

I did not have have PMS and pain before the partial. Large fibroids and sudden hemmoraging caused the partial...

Pray for me!

i'm in the same boat - i'm going for a trachelectomy on aug 10. i had an LSH in december, mini-periods since three months post op. my husband is on the fence about me getting surgery to remove my cervix, hoping that this will go away...but my gut tells me it won't, so i'm getting it taken care of now.
