Surgery is on Thursday, doctor just called and changed location

My doctor just called to tell me that they can't do the da vinci surgery at the hospital I was scheduled and already admitted to.

Something about certifications needing to be re-done. They are switching me to a hospital a little further away and a different surgeon will do the procedure and my doctor will assist. I will have to be there much earlier for blood work and admissions.

Part of me wants to cancel but the other part wants this over with. It's been months of testing, procedures, anemia and pain.

I feel devastated right now.

I sooo know what your going through. My surgery was cancelled today. I was scheduled for Mar 29 as well and now it's Apr 5th. All my planning just got flushed! I just want it done with. I did some research on the new doctor and everything is positive, he's been using the da vinci system since it first came to our state. I do want this over with, I'm tired of being on the verge of tears all the time.

The emotional roller coaster of going to all the appointments and finally making the decision, helping my husband deal with it as well as myself, I can't put this off.

The surgery will be a few hours earlier than originally planned, I'm happy about that. At least I won't have to wait around in the morning feeling nervous. Angie76, I'm so sorry yours is delayed.
