2 Days Until Surgery!!!

So far my feelings are normal, I guess....I feel as if this is all a huge nightmare...And I keep having to tell myself that YES THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN!! I guess the thing I worry about the most is the emotional part afterwards. Am I going to be a basketcase or am I going to surprise myself?? I am pretty optimistic, but man the past 10 months of my life have been nothing short of a bad roller coaster ride!! I am ready for my new beginning, but I hope I can regain that status uneventfully.

Anyone else feeling this way??

I can understand exactly how you are feeling. Mine is scheduled the day after yours. I am having TAH with burch bladder suspension. I posted a few days ago about my anxiety and the gals here were terrific. They said the anxiety and the waiting is the worst.

Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers on the 14th.

Hi, I remember that roller coaster ride pre op too. I was soooo scared - I was driving my family nuts with all my fears. But , the morning of my surgery I was calm. It surprised us all I think it was because the waiting was finally over.

I'll be praying that you can have that same calmness tomorrow before your surgery. Just remember to take some deep breaths and try to relax. Treat yourself to a nice long relaxing bath tonight, maybe some soothing music, whatever you enjoy most.
