Surgery July 23rd

Hi

I am new here! I guess I have put the surgery out of my mind since it was scheduled but now, with a little over a week to go- I am getting nervous.

I am scheduled for a uterine only hysterectomy next week. Since I was having surgery, I decided to add in a tummy tuck since it saved some money and I was already going to be recovering anyway. My gyn. said to expect a 2-3 day hospital stay.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

The waiting is the hardest part and it's totally normal to be nervous.

That's cool that you will be getting a tummy tuck also. I asked my doctor if they could suck some fat out while they were in there, lol. I didn't have it done though as it wouldn't have been covered by my insurance.

I've heard of women having tummy tucks done at the same time though.
