Enema vs "bowel prep/cleanse"
Hi ladies, so I have a question. I asked my doc if I had to do a full bowel prep and she said "gosh no, maybe just a lite enema". Everything I have been reading about having to drink that awful stuff and being in the bathroom for hours doesn't line up with what I have read for a fleet enema.
Can someone tell me the difference? Am I underestimating how bad "just an enema" will be? Surgery is Friday, thinking of trying it around 8 Thursday nite.

An enema is not that bad. Nowhere near as bad as the full bowel prep. Enemas usually just produce one good bowel movement. Nothing to be scared of at all.
