Anyone in their late 20's, Early 30's???????

Yep right there with you!! I am 28 and heving a TAH due to abnormal cervix cells and a swollen uterus. So the relief will be great. Everyone says, a hysterectomy at your age? WHY. And I say well I cannot help what my body does, so there are no longer any options. Dont worry you aree not alone!!

I am just 20 years old and a TAH on August 8, 2007. I have severe adhesions and endometriosis, the pain started from my first period when I was 13. I tried everything under the sun to help the pain, and in 2005 my doctor diagnosed me with severe endometriosis. Finally after exausting all my medical options I agreed to the Hysterectomy. I have my ovaries still, and I am hoping they start working agian.

I am 33 and just had TAH, LSO on July 5th, 2007. I had a mass on my left ovary, large fibroids and enlarged uterus. You will get through this - take it easy; use this sight to help you!

Hi! I'm 29. One of the hardest things for me is that people are shocked that this needs to be done 'at my age'. When they get past that, they feel sorry for me. Ugh - I don't need pity ... I need a hysterectomy! lol

I'm here! My cousin was 22 when she had to have a TAH/BSO for cancer reasons. It sucks sometimes that we're so young, but if the pain stops, it's well worth it! It's just super frustrating when others say, "but you're so young..."
