LAVH with large fibroids?
Hi,
I am scheduled for a LAVH on 9/18. According to my ultrasound, my uterus is 12.8 X 11.6 X 8 and it says that the length is probably under-estimated due to the position. What I've been wondering is my uterus too large for the LAVH? Is it an unnecessary concern? This is on my list of ?'s for the doc, but I'm not meeting with him until 9/15.

LAVH with large fibroids?
The Big Question: Have you had a vaginal delivery? I am having a TVH, but I delivered a 12 pound baby so I could pass just about anything through there!

No, I had a C-section 22 1/2 years ago. And on the list of ?'s for the doc is asking about adhesions, how he will deal with them if they are significant.
