Wow! It helps so much to read this stuff. My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, and I joined this site tonight in a panic, hoping I would find some words of wisdom and comfort. It is so great to know that I'm not the only one being consumed by nerves....I've felt like I'm probably just being a baby about it all. I should have grabbed the quote, because now I don't recall which of you said it....but THANK you to the one who posted that they worried too much, and that it was all so much easier than you thought. I can't tell you how much I needed to hear that tonight.

My surgery is the 10th and I've noticed I can't sleep when I get to bed. I just lie there awake. It seems to be getting worse. Trying to keep myself busy and get things done.

Prayers for all of you this week.

So happy that I am not alone. I am having some anxiety but am looking forward to a pain free life. I think it is the not knowing that is killing me. I am having a Robotic assisted hysterectomy for endo and aden on 12/5/14. My doctor is taking everything but my ovaries themselves. The only reason he will take my ovaries would be if the endo is all over them. I am waking up early and researching late into the night. Even on my lunch breaks I am researching. I think I need to take it down a notch and try to ease into this. Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone having their surgeries this week.
