6 years post hysterectomy HCG positive

I had my hysterectomy at 34 years old. I am 41 now. I had blood work done at the hospital emergency room for chest pain. They came in and said I was pregnant. My HCG levels was 7 point over for it to be positive. I told them I had a complete hysterectomy and the look on the doctors face said it all. They scared me so bad my anxiety is going crazy. I have had stomach issues as in bowl movements so they did a chest X-ray, ekg, and a cat scan of my abdomen. All came back normal. Did another blood drawl and it came back the same. HCG levels were positive for pregnancy. She said in her words 50 is negative and 57 is positive. 57 was still slightly elevated. I’m to follow up with my primary care doctor as I don’t go to the Obgyn anymore and they are to check blood again and then go from there. I am so scared. Truthfully I didn’t understand the numbers as if negative to positive. My mind was spinning. I keep thinking the worse. Has anyone ever had this happen? What questions should I ask? I have been fine since my hysterectomy except for pneumonia 2 years ago that required a chat tube and a month of antibiotics for a nasty bacteria and other minor illnesses. Now this, as they call it inflamed muscle skeletal cartilage of my ribs, chest and back. I had my yearly mammogram in April it was normal as well. I take Xanax 1mg at night, estradiol 5mg. I did stop my antidepressant a few months ago and haven’t started the other as I haven’t needed it until now but still holding off. Any help would be much appreciated before I loose my mind.

went to my primary care doctor today and I actually cries because I was so scared about the HCG he basically explained that when you are post menapause you still make HCG through your pituitary gland and its especially common in my age 41. He did Schedule me for a colonoscopy for this thursday because of the inflamation. He said all blood work looks good and doesnt see anything in blood work that warrants any other worries. I do go to my obgyn in September so we will get things checked there also.
