Alabamateacher,
From one teacher to another, stop and take care of YOURSELF! Don't put anything else before your recovery. Your body is telling you that you need more time. So, just like we tell our students, please listen carefully. I'll be praying for you today!

I took the same to stop smoking and now my DH is taking it. I think it does really work. MY Dh smoked for along time and he has not smoked in a week. I stoped in nov cause I had to go on birth controll. Good luck to all of you and we can all do it.

Bagpuss, I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps they move us to another area of the site? BTW, my cat Casper looks just like the one on your avitar. He loves it when I comb him and make him look pretty. I bet he'd love to have a tiara, too. lol

By the time I get on this site I've got so many pages to read it's hard to keep up. IMG420, I don't know how you do it but love your posts...so personal and makes us all feel special.

Alabama, I'm usually up and surfing the site in the wee hours of the morning but decided to go to bed early last night. Sorry I missed you. I hope you feel better soon.

Pocono, it would be great to have a get together. I'm not sure if I could make it but would try.

Hugs to everyone.

Still angry though. I've had cheddar and colby so I guess I need to go back to the fridge for the pepperjack.

Oh yeah, and when I can't poop from all this cheese I am sure I will feel angry about that too.

I too love the cheese!! Nothing is better that a pan of homemade baked mac n cheese with a crunchy layer of buttered breadcrumbs on top!!! Try that one, It cures all ailments for me. ;0) My grandma used to put sliced tomato on the top, that is good too.

I understand about being ornery, and you have such a style of writing that it does sound humorous!! Don't be offended if we say it made us laugh, you just paint such a vivid picture and some of us have been there and are comisserating with you. Personally, I have not been answering certain phone calls because I know that the caller is fishing and I don't feel like playing that game. I hope you feel better, but it is our right to have a crabby day every now and again is it not!? So don't feel badly, you have our support here.

OK,

Dr. says I have ear infections. Yes, each ear. Thinks that it might be part of a pending sinus infection. No strep throat- thank goodness. Hubby took me to the Dr. and lunch today.

We went to Chili's were I did not have an appetite, but ate the Southwestern eggrolls anyway.

Hubby took the day off to accompany the grounded 16 year old to traffic court; 65 in a 45- and he wonders why he is grounded Now he wants to spend time with me, unfortunately I am going to be spending time on the sofa with a pillow and blanket.

I'll post again later as soon as I wake up.

Hi Everyone
I'm so sorry to hear about all the illness going around. You would think the recovery would be enough. I hope everyone feels better soon.
I went out shopping yesterday, briefly. It was much more difficult than I thought it would be. It's very depressing that at almost 6 wks, I can't even get in a car and go somewhere. When will this end. My kids are desperate for some new clothes.
We had a ton of snow Fri and Sat and the little ones played outside all weekend. They had a blast. This weekend will be springlike again. Yeah!!!
Have a nice day!!!

you make me laugh with all that cheese eating Ornery Froggie! LOL. Maybe you can counter the effects by eating lots of carrot sticks later on. Good luck with that!

Six Week Check Up

Hello Ladies,

Posted yesterday and had my six week visit today with doc. It went well, he gave me the green light for WHATEVER. Or should I say he gave dh the green light. I am a bit nervous, hopefully when the time comes I will feel less nervous. Nervous probably because everything is gone and I don't know how things will feel. I will let you know if you want to know

Flatfroggie--I can relate, although I live in a big city, work and church community are small so I get all the questions too. One's like "Are you happy?" "No more children, isn't that depressing to you?"

Being Catholic that is the one that I get the funny face with.

Hang in there, Flatfroggie - It can only get better.

Img420 -- Thanks for including me in your post, it really did make me feel special

I will continue to check on all of you and pray for everyone. Because mine was a TVH I can't say "I know how you feel". I was pretty lucky and recovered quickly. Even my doctor said he was surprised how much energy I have. I guess I was LUCKY !!

Have a good Monday, a good week and quick recovery and less pain to all.
