I went to my primary dr last night with ear pain. He said I have neuralgia (like a short circuit of nerves), it could also be a start of a cold.He gave me 800mg of Motrin. He said to make sure with my gn if it is okay to take with Ceftin, because it is a blood thinner. So I called this am, she called me back quickly, and before I knew it she had me in the office within a half hour for yet 2 more progesterone injections ouch .She is now very concerned about my bladder and my "ovaries are not working".My blood work from Monday said my progesterone level was very low.So here I am still on an antibiotic, have had 4 injections in less than a week, this stupid ear pain, and my butt hurts again. This is just no fun at all.

Megapixel,
So sorry to hear about the big bleed! However, I have thyroid advice. I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in 2000, I called it my Y2K disease!! I had a racy pulse, blurred vision that's normally perfect, shaky hands and legs, and could not sleep to save my life. My appetite was like a lion's! After the diagnosis of Graves, which is basically just a hyperactive thyroid, I had a radioactive iodine treatment to kill the overactive part of the thyroid. Then I was prescribed medication to regulate the thyroid which I take daily for the rest of my long life. I have not had any problems since! I did have the "What are you staring at?" eyes for about 6 months and then they went back to normal. But realize that the thyroid gland affects EVERYTHING! Have it checked if you feel it could be an issue. Otherwise, I wish you well and remember this: no lifting for 6 months!! That's what a friend of mine told me after having my hysterectomy. Heck, why not make everyone pick stuff up for you anyway!!?? Take it easy and I will be praying for no big bleeds!! One more thing, keep the cervix as long as you can because it helps prevent bladder/urinary issues like incontinence.

This sounds good to me too........

Hi All, Lots of things to read today. First time on sight today. I had 6 week check today, DR released me for everthing even full playground. Internal check was just uncomfortable, did not hurt till he put on that silver stuff that burns......OUCH!!!, still burning on left side of vajaja. DH was with when all restrictions were lifted and he had that look, told him he had to wait till tomorrow night or Sat. Morning as vajaj was burning from the internal. My DR has decided to put me on Estrasorb (all natural estrogien) lotion. One packet a day, since I was worried about the breaking down of my tissue cells and bones, I am only 47, don't want to look 60 in 3 years. I will keep seeing his Nurse Practicioneer for my breast exams and mammo's and for HRT checks, may have to add progestroien if needed, otherwise, I could try the otc soy products if I don't like this Estrasorb. I still have the bladder spasms and DR told me to continue with the Detrol since it works great. Asthma is getting back under control........and tomorrow I start back to work 8 hr day with a 1 hr drive each way............Oh my........to bed soon for me.

Good Luck to all on upcoming exams and hope that they all go well.

Judy

Happy Now - Thanks for the thoughts. I am sorry to say I just took a percocet since I am really not feeling good tonight. This is so frustrating. I hope you feel better and get released to do things tomorrow.

Jujubear - Congratulations on your check up. Just don't do too much too soon.

Hi everyone.
I am now 6 weeks out and was doing ok until last week when I had a lot of pressure down there and suddenly felt my rectum was in my vagina. I am seeing the gynae. again tomorrow but I think I have a rectocele and am very down and worried about this. I have had wicked constipation since the surgery and that has been my worst problem.
I will post again after I see him tomorrow.

Singingmad, all this time I've been thinking of you as a maid who sings when actually you're someone who's mad (enthusiastic) about singing, right? I must be in a fog! I'm in furniture sales and go back to work tomorrow. If I don't get my head out of this fog someone might get a really good deal on a sofa...like I might write $498 instead of $948. Yikes!

Rodswife, you're not alone. I never had any kids and at 48 was certainly not going to start a family, but it's been hard for me to lose that ability. And, as nasty as Aunt Flo was to me, I've been sad about ending my monthly cycle. It's been with me since I was about 11. Time heals all wounds though and I think we'll gradually come to terms with it.

Princess48, too bad you couldn't get more info from your dr. I think it's to be expected that we will have some soreness after activity at this stage of the game. You might want to just make sure you ease back into things until you feel more comfortable (and listen to your body).

Take care everyone. Talk to you later.

Let's hope this makes a difference...

Well I had my 6 week check-up today and was given the okay for full playground activities. Now, as you can tell by yesterday's post I am having some issues with emotion.

Dr. asked what was going on that upset me, I said- nobody in this town can drive! Cashiers can't make change. Students aren't smart enough to bring a pen to class. Husbands don't understand that doing laundry for work means washing more than jeans. (toss up today was jeans, which are against the rules or purple plaid pajamas, which I am sure are also against the rules). Children (mine) that don't remembebr they have homework until 9pm. Yeah- it all boils down to everybody but me is stupid, so how do we fix them? I'm fine.

Dr. put me on Lexapro, said it will keep me from wanting to shoot people. He won't let me even maim some of my smart aleck students.

I have laryngitis. It came about from my sinus infection and double ear infection. Today, I must have had a dozen students who kept saying, "Could you repeat that?" I just looked at them like they were stupid. Tomorrow I am taking a whistle to school, it should certainly reverberate well in my portable.

I am glad to hear that most of you are healing well. I wish I could have been more supportive the past few days, but apparently I have been a ***** to a lot of people. Ask the 90 kids I see all day. Or the husband who washed jeans and no dress slacks.
