Hysterectomy dates Feb 25-Mar 03,2008

Hello!!!! Anyone still out there???? We've almost made it to our year anniversaries! I hope everyone is doing great! Miss "talking" to all of you!

Hi Kim, and anybody else out there.
Almost a year, and I'm almost recovered from my surgeries and menopause. I had an extra hard time and longer recovery due to bladder injury during surgery.

I thought by having a hysterectomy I could avoid a long drawn out menopause, but it's still been a LONG time to get the hormone & thyroid balance right. Actually still not quite right, but I think I'm getting close.

Trying to get off HRT right now, replacing it with Estroven, to see if I can be OK without HRT. It's so expensive & such a hassle and I have uncomfortable & even scary side effects if I don't do the right amount of progesterone with the Vivelle Dot patches.
