7-17 Hysterectomy.. Anyone had an ovarian cystectomy as well?

Hey guys, I got my paperwork in the mail today confirming the hysterectomy and giving a time (8:30am) anyway, under procedures it listed Da Vinci Laproscopy Hysterectomy with Ovarian Cystectomy. Anyone have any experience with a cystectomy. When they mentioned taking care of the cyst I figured they would just be draining it, looks like I was wrong. Now I have hysterectomy panic with added cystectomy panic!!

Hi. I am also having a cystectomy along with my hysterectomy. Though in my case, I think the cystectomy will likely become an oophorectomy on the side with the cyst since it is so large.

Try not to worry. At least you're getting them both taken care of in one shot! One less surgery to worry about.
