Re: Vomiting and nursura
Wow, that sounds tough. Perhaps you have a stomach flu? Your surgery was so recent too. All the vomiting can cause you extra pain and strain your healing tissues. You should call your doc or go to urgent care to get this under control. You really don't want to get dehydrated now. If you're not feeling better, please seek some help.

Re: Vomiting and nursura
You may be allergic or having reaction to pain meds? Or taking pain meds on an empty stomach?
Agree with Elsie, could be stomach flu If you are vomiting you risk broming dehydrated, make sure you are drinking lots of clear fruit juice, Gatorade, herbal tea.
Try to avoid anything processed but make sure you are eating, ripe bananas, sliced apples, saltines, dry toast, plain yogurt.
Avoid dairy, anything acidic or rich.
Check with your doc or go to ER if it continues ... Throwing up has to hurt after surgery!!

Re: Vomiting and nursura
Same thing happened to me on the second day after surgery. I called my doctor and she called in an anti-nausea medication to my pharmacy. Please call your doc right away. I feel so bad for you, I know how much it hurts and how awful it feels.
In my case, I think it was either the pain meds, or anesthesia. They told me I was throwing up alot when I was waking up from the anesthesia.
Hugs!!!
