Hot Crab Appetizer Spread

This is so easy to prepare for a holiday gathering, and your guests will love it. Be sure to use a good quality canned white crab, like Chicken of the Sea. Refrigerate any leftover spread and reheat in the microwave.

1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 t. milk
1 6-ounce can white crab, drained
2 t. finely chopped onions
½ t. creamy horseradish
½ t. salt
¼ t. white pepper
1/3 C. sliced almonds

Combine cream cheese and milk. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Spoon mixture into a baking dish, sprinkle almonds on top Bake at 375 degrees 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes to cool slightly. Serve warm with assorted crackers.
