Hard to get Hysterectomy's In Utah

Hey Ladies,

I found the Utah page just today, so I thought I would post a few things. I know sometimes it is helpful to have someone in your state that you can ask questions of. I am that sister. Please let me know if you have any questions. If I can give you help and answers let me know.

I just wanted to let you know that I have had a a very hard time finding any doctors in Utah that are helpful, and willing to do a hysterectomy on anyone, but particularly people my age (I am 32). I thought it was just me, but I talked to my primary care physician and she said that Utah doctors are very reluctant to perform a hysterectomy. I am not trying to bad mouth any doctors, but I want all my Utah sisters to know that if they are having problems it is not just you. I will be going out of state for mine on 7-27-2010.

I live I southern utah I am 38 and my dr had no problem giving me the green light. If you want to sent me a private message I can tell you the name. He is awesome and does a ton!
