june 4 my pre op

June 4 I see my doctor to discuss my hysterectomy. I suffer from panic attacks and I'm worried. My doctor is great and makes you feel very comfortable. Last time I saw him he said I will need a hysterectomy and made the procedure sound like a piece of cake. He made me feel like its no big deal. He said he has been doing this for 14 years. I'm scared that I wont wake up. I have two little girls.

I know having surgery and being put under is very scary - you are not alone in your fears. Just know that the doctors and nurses doing your surgery will carefully watch over you, they will protect you, and they will see you through this. There is probably no other time when are watched by so many people. The doctors and nurses for surgery are all specially trained professionals, and they have done many, many surgeries.

Sarah they will look after you and for whatever reason you are having your surgery, you will feel better after. It's ok to be scared. We all were/are. It's only natural.
