Pilates, which exercises first, after laproscopic partial hysterectom?
Lots of gratitude to have found you-all. I have ,y own reformer and worked out six days a week till the day before surg. Doc cleared me to begin on tenth day. Tiny legwork moves. No hundreds. Nothing fancy. Some arms. Felt great, no pain. Was supposed to use pain as my guide. The next day? WOW. PAIN! Went slower. 10 minutes on elliptical trainer. Walking dogs. I sit seven hours a day three days a week in my career, no problem.
Tried to ride my horse. NO! Was bloated and exhausted for two days. It was a tiny walk. Really. No posting or trail or anything.
Last Thursday felt great. Did 30 minutes gentle yoga and breathing and Pilates. No pain. Last night back, rectum and guy were in extreme pain, took half a leftover percocet at 3am.
I can from all the postings that some of this is normal.
Any suggestions re which Pilates moves are best to start with? My muscles and mind are dying for release.
Many thanks, sisters.

I would take it easy for awhile longer. If you're feeling pain, that could be a sign that you are doing too much. Take it slow and easy.
