Ohio Roll Call! :)

Hello everyone

I am Lisa (LisaM on the site). I live in the "big city" of Columbus. I have been an avid member of Hyster Sisters since July 99. I had my surgery on 9/2/99 (TAH/BSO).

My biggest interests are my children (son - 16 yrs, daughter - 14 yrs, and son - 11 yrs) and also learning all that I can about computers. I love playing on the computer. I take them apart and put them back together just to learn more about them I also LOVE to SOCIALIZE

I'm Susan and I live in the suburbs of Nova. Been married 31 1/2 years and have a daughter and a son, both out on their own.
My activities are my garden (such as it is) and bird dog field trials. We have dogs and horses. I really like antiquing. I'm a big Tribe fan!
My goals in life are to grow some roses and to walk a mile in 15 minutes.
Cindy - we are practically neighbors! I've been in the Bear a time or two! YUM!!
Patty - my ex-DIL made me a kaleidiscope, it's stained glass.

Hi! My name is Troylynn or IM is Mommyboggs. I live in a small town called Bloomingdale. I am about 10 miles from Steubenville which is on the Ohio/West Virginia border.
I have 3 children who keep me very busy--ages 10, 7, 6. I am also a high school freshman girls basketball coach.
I enjoy reading (when I get the chance), horseback riding (used to be a riding instructor), and basketball.
I enjoy hearing about all of you other Ohioans! Think it would be really neat to have a get-together!

Hi, I'm also from Tiffin, Ohio. I'm new to this site but, I think it is
great. I have 3 children. My oldest son in a Freshman at
Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown , Wisconsin.
My other son is a Freshman in high school. My daughter is
in first grade. I have a range of ages. Many problems along the
way has probally caused my present one. I have a TAH with
possible BSO scheduled for Jan 18. The only decision yet is
BSO or not. My mother's sister died from ovarian cancer last
year so I am leaning toward having them out.
This is a wonderful site. I have learned sooooo much here. I
also gave the site to my sister who went to the castle last
September. She gave it to her Dr. to share.
I enjoy counted cross stitch and hope to get some done while
I'm off from work. I work at the local castle where I will be
going. I hope to get lots of pampering! lol

Hi Susan (su),
Are you in the Nova that is more-or-less between New London and
Ashland? If so, believe it or not, I used to visit there quite often as
a child. If I'm thinking of the correct Nova, it used to have this little
restaurant at an intersection. Can't remember the name of it though.
After all these years, I'm sure it's changed it's name anyway !!
This restaurant used to have a man playing a piano while you ate.
I remember this man embarassing my mother one time by singing
Happy Birthday to her - in front of the whole restaurant.

Yes, Dawn, we are talking about the *same* Nova. The restaurant is still here, with the same name...The Reed House. Although it is under different ownership, it still has good pies!
The corner store is still here, too, and the feed mill. About the only difference in 'town' is that the phone company has it's own building and is no longer in the front room of someone's house.
Small world gets smaller all the time, no?

Hello....new to the site today and trying to find my way around. I am scheduled for a hysterectomy in March but to be honest...I don't know all the terms yet so forgive me.

Anyway....My name is Linda. I am 32 y/o and a WAHM to five children, 15 y/o boy, 13 y/o girl, 4 y/o girl, and boy girl twins that will be 3 in February.

I live in a suburb of Cincinnati. Look forward to meeting all the Ohio sisters!
