Does anyone work out at Curves anymore?

I am 6 weeks postop and I am researching what the most gentle yet effective way to get back in shape....how good is Curves? No posts for awhile here ...has it become unpopular? Is there a better program?

I have been pondering it for a couple years but they required a year contract which I did not want to do.

I had just joined about a month prior to my hyst. I was enjoying it. Now, of course I'll be off for a couple of months. They were kind enough to give me "medical leave" with a doctor's note.
