The memory thing is even worse when you have "fibro fog" on top of it--I do literally stop in mid sentence and have no clue what I was saying. My best friend thinks it's hilarious...

Thank goodness I am not the only one with the midsentence thing. My daughter gives me a hard time about it. The only bad thing is when it happens at work though. It can be very embarrassing.

Yeah I work from home but I do talk to clients all day and installers too, at time I feel as if I have a mouth full of MUSH and I stammer its so embarrassing!!!!! I knew I was losing my mind going to the garage or other room to get something and then within seconds forget what I was after! UGH! So hopfully if I regulate my HRT I will be ok... ONE PROBLEM, the patches I use really make my sweat smell weird and I have to shower more then once a day if I use a patch, so I use it for a week then off a week.. anyone else have that problem??

Presouz, I am on NOTHING since surgery......no patch, no estrogen, no hrt of any sort. Its been hard dealing with the muscle and joint pain as a result not to mention the mental "fuzziness". I made an appt to see my gyn to discuss how i have been doing the past three months. What kind of patch are you on? How does that work?

Hi, I have been playing around with the Estradiol patch the 0.0375 and the 0.025 trading one per one the next week, like I said before they make my sweat smell funny when I get my almost hot flashes my warm fuzzies. I also have tried the Premarin 0.3 MG ... I guess it takes time to find whats right... Good luck on the Dr. App....

I'm on Vivelle Dot .1. I think it's the highest dose. I just feel like if I sweat it makes everything smell like sweat. Maybe it just hightens our sense of smell?

I have a question for everyone: how long does it take for acidophillus to help kick a yeast infection? I have two days left for a 10 day routine of Keflex, and I'm about to die!! I just started taking the acidophillus last night (2), with some lovely itch relief cream that burns like you know what before it takes effect, and I ate half a thing of yogurt and just took two more ac. pills. I'm not expecting it to work magically by today, but I'm trying to avoid paying for, and having to take, yet another medicine (I had to start on some for my fibro--it makes me fun!!!)...

I use pro biotics to prevent that, I take them on an empty before bed on an empty tummy, its like getting the good stuff in a capsule, I take 2. I am on the 3rd round of anti botics since before my surgery and this time its amox for 2 weeks, I try to take my pro biotoics nightly and never have gotten a yeast infection, they are good to day anyway... too take every day.. good luck!
