Ugh, I think I'm coming down with something...

and my first procedure is on Wednesday (hysteroscopy with D&C and biopsies so my doctor can figure out which hysterectomy surgery to use) . I'm going to give it until Tuesday morning before giving in and calling the hysteroscopy off. We'll have to see.

I got a flu shot last Thursday so it could just be my body reacting to that. That's my hope anyway.

Maybe I should just lie if they ask me if I'm sick. I'm SO ready to get all this done and over with. I don't want to have to postpone any of it; the hysteroscopy or the big "H" later. I'd like it to happen before Christmas if possible.

Re: Ugh, I think I'm coming down with something...

YAY! It is Monday and I feel MUCH better. I'm thinking my body was simply reacting to the flu shot in a "Hey, a pathogen! Let's kill it!" sort of way.

I'm actually looking forward to getting this hysteroscopy and D&C/biopsies done and over with. I'm an awful person because I'm looking forward to having my husband have to do all my chores for a couple of days while I recover. As indicated by my nickname, I raise sheep so he'll get to go feed the girls and wrestle the rams away from the gate and all that for once. It should prove interesting.

I am in the same boat! My family just came down with the H1N1 and I'm freakin out! I'm told I can't get the surgery if I'm sick, but I have to get it before the end of the year. It's hard with the holidays coming near... Just gotta be careful because I heard that if your sick it can cause more complications in recovery! Good luck honey!
