TAH: Underwear recommendations for after hysterectomy?

I am in the low rise bikini camp because i had davinci, so the elastic hits below any incisions - with incision in the belly button, the granny panties were uncomfortable. So maybe bikini for laparoscopic and granny for abdominal incision? (Which I gather is below the level of belly button).

In either case definitely SUPER STRETCHY is important (or larger size if you can't find stretchy). It's more comfortable, will prevent anything digging in, and will accommodate your belly which can get surprisingly swollen (eg on a day you overdo it, belly starts almost normal then by end of day is pretty big).

I went with Granny Panties in a size bigger. My incision is from above my belly button down and then below the bikini line it's across it's like an upside down capital T. It's a little annoying but I don't think any other would be better.

None! My tummy was hyper sensitive and sore post op. Could not handle any kind of waistband including panties. Girly Commando!
