Can't undo watching video

OK I went and did something WAY stupid!! I watched a video about TAH and I went from 0 to 10+ in the nerves dept. Unfortunately I can't undo this..A word of advice to those who might be tempted to do the same...DON"T!

haha..oh I hear ya. I knew ahead of time that there was NO WAY I could watch the video and someone here recommended the diagrams ..so I looked at those..and was still freaked out..my DD came into the room and I was sitting here with a blanket pulled up to my chin and the most horrified look on my face! LOL

If you think you can't handle it..DON'T. If you can, great..it might put your mind at ease.

I still think about it..and all it did was raise more questions.

Carmen - Look at it this way. Now you know that you will need to take very good care of yourself to heal. You won't be able to delude yourself into thinking that this is minor surgery. You will be an awesome patient and will follow your doctor's orders to the "T".

I too watched several videos and they actually helped me understand all that was involved. It also made me into a very obedient patient during recovery as I was not about to undo anything the doctor had done by overdoing it.

Modern medicine is pretty amazing when you think about it and so are our bodies. I wish you the best during your surgery and your recovery.

I know it helped me by watching a video of the Supracervical - it made me understand exactly what was going to happen. My nerves came from what I didn't know - what exactly were they going to be doing in there?
Good luck with your surgery I am four days post-op, and even with the pain and the gas, I don't regret a thing!

Thanks guys for giving me a whole new perspective on viewing the video. Yes, I do agree that knowledge is king and I am going to look at it as so. I am definitely going to be the world's most compliant patient.
