I lost it and moved my date...

It felt so rushed. I went in to discuss with my 2nd opinion dr this past Friday and it was scheduled for the following (next) Friday. I lost sleep, I think delirium is setting in thinking about the preop rush all week with no time to stop and think. I want my drs there (both my internal medicine/onc and my obgyn) to be on call and available. It felt so rushed. Has anyone felt rushed? It was my choice out of desperation to get pain free but sometimes desperation trumps logic and in this case it feels that way.

Re: I lost it and moved my date...

My one and only regret, even after complications, is that everything was rushed! In the end it had to be done and sooner was better. There is nothing wrong with waiting a little if you need to for a little bit (unless you are dealing with issues that make it an urgent need, cancer or severe bleeding). Take time to clear your mind if you need to. Hugs.
