One week and counting

Went to the Dr. for pre-op talk today. One week till I visit the castle. Dr. found a hint of cancer posible after looking at blood work results. They will do tests. Dr. is taking both ovaries, tubes and uterus due to Endometriosis. I will be happy after all said and done......

Good Luck Dragonmaster! Love that name. I hope everything goes well. Please let us know how you are doing when you can. This website really helps pass the time during recovery.

Take care of yourself in these final days! Do what you can, but don't stress too much about those things that don't get done around the house. I found that I actually slowed down the last couple of days before surgery -- took time to be with the family, etc. It was good for me to do that.

and try to focus on what things will be like after you're recovered!

I do not worry too much of what will happen before or after surgery. I luckily have a very supportive DH and and 3 kids to help out. DH has been sick this past week with a head cold and is afraid of getting me sick before my visit to the castle.. I told him not to worry and make the best of the time he has with me before surgery as pleasant as posssible....
