I'm back

Wow. Well, not too bad. Took a few hours to build up enough fluid to pee. REally not bad. Not up to a long post but I'm impressed. Said it went well. Had 5 fibroids some we never saw and some unexpected scar tissue around bladder. Will know more after my Jan. 5 appt. I must admit I'm probably in a better position than a lot of people. I'm where they were 10 years ago before a bunch of alternative tries on things. But I'm glad.

home! I'm glad to see that you're home and doing well! Now be a good and drink plenty of water, take short slow walks, rest, and let everyone pamper you! I hope you have a smooth recovery!

I'm back

Well, home and doing pretty well. I can see the challenge will be resting as much as I should! they found more fibroids than we had seen and scar tissue (???Why I do not know) between the cervix and bladder. Hopefully all will continue to go smoothly. I think I am already feeling better than before despite surgery pain (mostly like a bad period cramps). Who knew!

I'm back

They got me out of there as soon as I could pee. Came in at 5:20 am out by 5:20 pm (or pretty close to that). Still seem to be doing quite well. Had a BM last night and was very glad that went fine.

I hope they don't keep me until I urinate. I always have trouble with that after anethesia. Lazy bladder, I guess. I've been known to have to keep a catheder in for a week. Yech.

Maybe I'll have a chat with my bladder before surgery.

Glad you did so well!
