meds and surgery

Any ladies who also have adhd? If so, did you continue your adderall or ritalin before, during, after surgery. I have been tapering my dosage back in preparation for my surgery. Life isn't stressful enough pre-opt, now I'm going through med withdrawal! Pre-op jitters, pms and adderall withdrawal....weeee! Life is fun!

Sorry, I cannot help you out with your med question but know how you feel.....trying to take off a some weight, give up the cigs, going through some panic attacks, and putting up with mood swings triggered by screwed up cycle! Take care and good luck to you

no add meds here. I do take celexa for anxiety and have been told to continue taking it. (I take it at bedtime so I already took my dose tonight.) now I hope I can sleep tonight! hugs Raymo

Don't take any ADHD meds but do take others. Synthroid, Crestor, Prilosec and cranberry stuff. Nurse said to probably not take it the day of but to bring it with me and they would probably have me take it after.
I would call your doc's office and double-check just to be safe.
