If eligible & old enough-has anyone experienced any affect to your ERT from flu shot or Covid vaccine?

...When my turn comes and I decide to, I hope that I don't experience any or at the most just mild ones. When I actually got the flu , or had a flu shot in the past it has caused low estrogen symptoms to appear. Sigh.

I am 48, got my 2 shots. Still have my ovaries, hysterectomy 8 years ago.

No issues besides tiredness and headache after 2 shot

Having a reaction to a vaccine is natural, it means that your immune system is doing what it is supposed to do and fighting. I've never heard of anyone having hormonal issues after a vaccine, though. Does your doctor know about it?

Ann!

I know that you're sensitive to changes, but hopefully any reaction you may have to whichever of the vaccines you get will be short lived. One way to look at it would be short term negatives versus potential long-term positives.

I will be hoping for the best possible outcome for you!

Re: If eligible & old enough-has anyone experienced any affect to your ERT from flu shot or Covid vaccine?

Personally I had no reactions of any kind to my 2 doses of Moderna vaccine. I haven’t reacted to flu shots either. Hopefully you would find something like that, but lots of people have a day of minor symptoms with everything fine after that. Many are like me, so not everyone reacts in the same way.

I'm still waiting my turn for the COVID shot, but I do have my flu shot every year, which has never caused anything more than a sore arm, which is a small price to pay for something that will prevent serious illness or death.

I hope I do well, unlike my last flu shot a couple of years ago. I think the wait can be long on these lists- covid vaccines.

Thank you very much! I needed to hear that. Very sensitive to hormone changes/levels, medications, and certain foods.
