Nausea medicine before hysterectomy for migraines? Does anesthesia cause migraines, too?

I suffer from migraines to the point that i get violently ill i take a pill for the nausea. I was wondering if I should take the nausea pill the day of my surgery (16) also does anyone know if the anesthetic will cause a migraine?

You should receive extensive instructions on what meds to take/ not take. Be sure your surgeon and anesthesiologist are aware of any medical issues

Tell your doc specifically what med you take for nausea and whether or not you can take it. Some medications have to be stopped a week or two in advance of surgery, so I'd suggest calling ASAP.
