Herbs to shrink fibroids?

Can herbs shrink fibroids? Ones that have grown pretty huge and cause lots of pain and bleeding????

My last GYN ws a homopath he suggested estrogym power. It can be ordered on line. It gets expensive and all in all my fibroids got larger when I stopped taking it.

Sorry I spelled it wrong it is Estrium Medical Food. He said it helps in srinking fibroids.

Have you already tried progesterone?

I tried Vitlzmem and fibrovan both of which are digestive enzymes which are supposed to dissolve fibran. I feel like my periods were lighter on Fibrovan, but really who knows.
My fibroids continued to grow.
I also used a hormone balancing supplement (which did help with my PMS symptoms) and at times took Magnesium (because one of my fibroids was calcified), DIM and Myomin because I was sure I was Estrogen dominant. And natural progeterone cream.
The Dim. Myomin and progest made my PMS so bad that I thought at times I should just drive off the road and end it all.
I also read John Lee's books, but even he says that using progestrone can make fibroids grow once they are big (but no one knows how big that is).
It kind of makes me mad that I spent all that money and time on what was basically snake oil. I would have done anything to shrink my fibroids.

I've had fibroids for 11 years and have tried all manner of natural treatments. Some of them did help quite a bit in alleviating bothersome symptoms of the fibroids, but in the end they still grew quite large and now I am faced with hysterectomy. Fibrovan did help alot with pain, pressure & bloating symptoms - but did not shrink them. Maybe it would work better on tiny fibroids. My largest one now is 19cm!!

I hear you. I have been researching a place in Patagonia New Mexico that offers a 1 week very expensive fibroid treatment involving pretty radical diet change, meditation, yoga, herbs etc. They claim to have good results. I am so tempted to try it, but am afraid to waste all that money if it doesn't work. Supposedly the herbs are formulated fresh daily there on location. I do know one friend who shrank her fibroids through pretty drastic changes in her diet.
