I'm finally home!

FallBride just taking a moment to check in and say that I just got home and it was worth it!!!!! I was running a tiny fever so they kept me a little longer...

And the spinal was absolutely nothing to fear! It was like tiny sting, then you lay down and go numb instantly, then I got general anesthesia, too. And all of this with Versed (happy juice) coarsing through my veins. Yeah.

I was constantly on some pain med in the castle, so now that I am home, I am feeling much more discomfort. And I haven't pooped since Sunday. Ugh. She said there's a suppository in my immediate future.

As for the nurses and hospital, it was all amazing. Those ladies were angels, even during their "busiest" time in 3 years. And right after I was wheeled into my private room, the whole hospital had a black out. Maine was having torrential winds and rain. Of course, the hospital had excellent backup systems, so there was alot of scrambling, but no damage done. When I woke up, I was able to see that I even had an ocean view. Wow.

OK, didn't realize how totally exhausted little things would make me, like thinking and typing...

Time for me to rest and remember what the heck the dr. said I can and can't do. Honestly, I don't even remember what she said. I hope my hubby does!

I could not have gotten through this without all of you wonderful sisters. Thanks !!!

Welcome home.

The rules.

Rest

Drink tons of water.

Walk around everytime you go to the bathroom.

Sitting is an activity, not rest.
