Re: ultrasound
You can call the office and ask about the results. However, if you don't trust your doctor at all you might want to find another.

Re: ultrasound
I agree with ((Catherine)). These results are YOURS and you have every right to request a copy of them. You should insist that they review the results with you and if they don't, then find a new doctor whom you can trust and have a good rapport with. We have to be our own best advocate and if you doctor's office isn't helping you, your insurance company might have patient advocates who can refer you to a new and better physician.
Good luck & .

Re: ultrasound
crazytigger12,
I responded on another thread of yours about finding info on your doc, but for some reason didn't see this thread. The hostesses are 100% correct in that you are entitled to the results and if you are not comfortable with your doc, you should seek another. Because I started to seriously doubt my doc, I sought additional opinions. It was also after having sought these opinions that I learned I had fibroids. Because I belong to an HMO, no new tests were ordered and the second opinion docs just looked at tests my previous doc ordered.
Thankfully I found a good doc that shared the info & believed that due to the fibroids and other problems I had that I should have a hysterectomy. After my surgery I requested all of my records & they were provided without any obstacles. Turns out my former doc never disclosed that I had a fibroid on one test or that they multiplied over a 3 month period of time when I was on a drug that should be shrinking fibroids, not multiplying them.
This has been a very difficult life lesson for me emotionally...that a doc didn't disclose something contributing to my misery & was willing to drag me through more unnecessary suffering. Should I ever have any other health issues requiring CTs, ultrasounds, MRIs, etc., I will ALWAYS ask for a copy of the results from the doc him/herself. It demonstrates that you want to be fully aware of your situation and that you are an active participant in the decision making for your treatment. Please consider getting your results & taking them with you to get another opinion from a doc that you are comfortable with.
