Had Pre-op Today

Just back from my pre-op! Was told that he will take everything which I knew already. Said surgery will take about an hour and I will be hospital until Thursday PM. Have to drink bowel prep starting at Noon on Monday which is quite nasty (I did with colonoscopy). Only think I was a bit bummed out about was that doctor had said previously he'd give me something for anxiety for day before and AM and he said they would give me something at hospital. If my nerves stand true to form, I won't need bowel prep - I'll be running to the bathroom from a nervous stomach anyway! Oh well, only 12 days to go......can't wait for this to be over but glad I have all of you for support!!!!

in there. I think that sometimes pre op makes us a bit more stressed because it somehow makes the surgery seem more real

I agree that bowel prep is no fun at all. But, as you know, we can get it done . Stay near your potty and have those soft wipes ready
