new here (partical hyst, pain from swollen and enlarged fallopian tube)
Hi, i am scheduled for a partial hysterectomy January 6, 2014. A little back story, both my mother and maternal grandmother had complete hysterectomys due to endometriosis. I had a tubal ligation September 2007, they cut, snipped and clamped the fallopian tubes. Then things got worse period wise and due to my allergy to birth control pills they decided i needed an endometrial ablation, had that done April 2011. Had a rough recovery for about three weeks but then life was great. No more periods no pain nothing. Fast forward to June 2013. Started having severe tearful pain. Husband was so scared he wanted to call ambulance. Finally drove myself to er July1 (which was only a master of about 3 days) pain was so bad i thought appendix or kidney stone. Pain not constant but sudden and severe and would last hours. Lots of tests in er and Dr said nothing. Follow up with pcpa couple days later she said they found uterine fibroids so off to gyn i go. He said fibroids were not reason for pain but rather the swollen and enlarged fallopian tube. I believe he called it post ablation tubal ligation syndrome. So apparently for years fluids have been stuck in my fallopian tubes and just keep building. Well i was scheduled for a completely different unrelated surgery the end of August so we went back and forth as to what needed to be done first. Then it was like Gyn disappeared. I called and called and noone called back so i had other surgery. Then period came back and pain got way worse and became daily. So calling again i did and thus time he called back. He wanted to refer me for robotic surgery but the Dr wouldn't take my insurance so he agreed to do it himself laproscopicly (sp?) I finally have a date but i am in pain daily. I an living on Tylenol as that's the only otc pain need i can take and it barely touches the pain. I just don't know if i can make it till January. Thanks for reading i needed to vent
