Heavy Bleeding, Clots, Fibroids, Endometriosis

Hi everyone, I am so thankful I found this forum! I am 25 and I have very heavy bleeding, blood clots during cycle, and fibroids.I have developed anemia and currently taking iron as well as HCTZ for high blood pressure. I am not overweight, I have a very thin frame and I'm very slim.

I have been bleeding constantly for the last 30 days - experiencing a heavy period and breakthrough. My cycles are always very heavy and painful. I was in the ER last month because of it. My stomach swells up and appears that I am pregnant.

My doctors have been looking at other options for me such as the mini pill and Estrace. I've been on the mini pill for the last year and Eatrace for the last week or so. I do not have any children and I don't plan on having any in the near future- but I'm still very young. I need advice on other treatment options because of my age.

Has anyone else experienced this things during mid-20s? Thank you in advance!

I am in my 40s but I know what you are going through. It's really hard to feel good when you feel so terrible.Keep up the iron pills and get the necessary tests done to see what the next step for you is.Try things first before making the decision on having surgery for this issue especially because of your age and the fact you have no kids as yet. Have the doctors been able to pinpoint the cause of your symptons? Perhaps you would benefit from a consult with an endo specialist.
