Full Hysterectomy with Bowel Tear

I am 5 days out from a surgery that was supposed to be a robot hysterectomy with a same-day discharge to what my doctor said was the worst endometriosis he has ever seen. When trying to remove, he tore the skin on my bowel and I ended up having another surgery with the robot immediately after the hysterectomy to repair my bowel. I am lucky my doctor saw the tear on my bowel, I am lucky he found a general surgeon to run in and use the robot to continue the surgery. I always said after my Dad died 18 years ago, I have had a pretty good guardian angel. I wanted to engage with this forum to learn about treatment for the immediate effects of a full hysterectomy (removing everything) hot flashes, etc. This looks like a good group to be a part of.
