Premarin vs. Estrace

I currently take .625mg of Premarin and actually feel quite good - except for the weight gain. I have no idea if Premarin is really to blame, as I put on 30lbs during chemo from steroids. I just can't seem to lose any of it, even though I feel like I'm eating half of what I used to. My Dr mentioned Estrace and I'm wondering if anyone has switched from Premarin to Estrace and could share their expierence. Thanks in advance!

I doubt it would help you lose weight and if you are not having any problems other than weight gain I would just give it a little time. You have been through alot. I guess you could always try and switch back if it didn't work. Plus, I personally lean towards using bio-identical hormone replacement. BUT,that being said, if I thought premarin would get rid of my fatigue and joint pain I would start taking it tomorrow.
