pre=op biopsy-now bleeding alot

I had a endometrial biopsy done at my pre-op. i have been gushing blood since then.,plus cramping bad :confused call the gyn dr and nurse they both tell me it could be a period or the procedure caused my fybroids to bleed. so they are going to have me wait 7 days before they will correct it. unless I have signs of anemia. In the mean time I am afraid to go any where as a result. I don't knoe that I believe them.Any advice would help. I think it is because my surgery is sceduled for 4/14.

Re: pre=op biopsy-now bleeding alot

I had an endo biopsy and bled quite a bit afterward. I had lots of cramping too. It stopped after two days then two days later I started my "normal' period. I was a mess! It was awful, the proceduce itself was very painful. So I know what your are going through. The bleeding should let up soon. My doc told me it could flow as heavily as a normal period but if it went past that point then I needed to call immediately. SO if things do get tooo bad I would call the doc back. ;-)
