It's a bit odd, since they're usually done by different professionals under different types of sedation in different locations within the hospital, and possibly with different types of prep as well.
For example: my hyst was done in the OR under general anesthesia (propofol IV) by my GYN, after a Fleet enema and NPO after midnight but with no oral bowel prep; my colonoscopy was done in an endoscopy suite under conscious sedation (Versed IV) by my gastroenterologist after an oral bowel prep but no enema. I can't envision how having both done at the same time would work and I'm not sure there's an advantage to it.
