Bloated and no room?

Hi ladies,

I was wondering if anyone else feels so bloated sometimes that you can barely eat because you don't feel as if you have the room in your stomach to? It almost feels like I'm so bloated that it almost throws off my center of gravity kinda like you hear pregnant women talk about. Ugh, this is just gross!

Take care and thanks for your advice!

Re: Bloated and no room?

Well, at least it isn't just me! Hmm, I suppose I should just decide to invest in some scrub pants with a drawstring waist so I won't feel so bleh wearing jeans. Even elastic-waisted stuff doesn't feel too hot right now.

Here's hoping we get some relief soon! Take care.

Re: Bloated and no room?

The bloating is horrible for me as well. The bloating and pain have gotten a lot worse in the past several months. I think that my uterus and ginormous fibroids know that their days are
numbered. So they are making as much trouble as they can - while they can. I am scheduled for Oct 20. I am scared, but will be glad not to feel like this after it is over.

Re: Bloated and no room?

Yikes! I am always bloated! I just thought I was gaining weight or feeling gassey. UGH! Is this a part of all of this mess we are all going through? Is it suppose to go away (at least a bit) after this surgery? Goodness that would be nice. I don't eat that much, however, I have put on almost 25 pounds in about a 9 month period. I can not stand it. Fingers crossed that that will fade after a while.....I can't wait to be done with all of this and I am sure you can not either. 10 days in counting.

Re: Bloated and no room?

Seriously! I've been trying to lose for the past month now and the number on the scale is stubbornly staying put or inching upwards. I can't tell if it's water weight or what and my hands are all puffed up and gross too! I hope after the crowning I don't have to deal with that anymore. Does anyone know if you keep an ovary do you still have the monthly PMS/bloaty stuff? I sure hope not.

Re: Bloated and no room?

I think the bloatedness is one of my worst symptoms. I've known I have fibroids for since the beginning of August and have noticed the bloatedness rise in the last 6 weeks or so so that its now reaching my tummy button. By evening my abdomen is very extended and hard. I too cannot eat much at a time and the rest of me is slim. I've had to go out and buy trousers in the next size up to my normal ones so that I can be comfy at work. Hate it!!
