Good Morning

Luv so sorry to hear you are still having problems.
Solstice sure hope that bleeding is nothing but a burst hemroid.
Been feeling better since they put me on Ambien. I am now getting a 4 hour block of sleep, up and pee, then another 3-4. Uro also put me on Enablex 7.5 for all the peeing and that really seems to calm my bladder down. I was peeing about every two hours or more often if I drank something that irritated my bladder. I drank a cup of coffee and peed every 15 min for an hour.
This surgery made my bladder very irritable.
Mood wise feel better. Got a new set of hormone pellets put in yesterday. I had developed senile vaginitis when my blood level dropped too low (78). A lot of women do just fine with that level, but I got very irritative vulvar symptoms.
Energy improving, and hope we are all more or less with the worst behind us? Just hate to put so much attention on my crotch issues.

Fox-Fordyce disease is a glandular disease...it actually has to do with sweat glands, but you have sweat glands all over your body....and the glands not working properly to let the sweat out....Hope this isn't too much info....but my problem is in the vulva area and, itching, cysts under the skin from the glands not functioning and getting clogged, then they drain, very painful....so I am going to one more dermatologist to see what they say.....then on to Iowa City if things don't improve....I am actually in Sioux City.....I used to get to Omaha quite frequently when my sister lived there but now a days I go down for conerts and stuff.

Jersi,
I should have read your postings closer. Yep, your profile says Sioux City. Wow, Iowa City is quite a commute for healthcare. Am I reading that right? Isn't there someone in DesMoines or down here in Omaha that could help? If you end up coming to Omaha and need a place to crash overnight, you're welcome to come here. Just drop me an email if that happens.

Good luck on the Fox-Fordyce thing. Never too much information or true TMI, that's the wonderful thing about this site.

Take Care, LJC

Well the clinic in Iowa City specializes in Vulvular Care....can you belive there is a clinic just for that..LOL....it is quite a commute but I am willing to do it if we can get this taken care of.. My new gyn has been so good to me and I trust that this is the right way to go. It's great to finally have a doc I can really talk to and she listens and doesn't make me feel like I am a hypocondriac (sp?) like doctors in the past have. Thank you so much for the offer of a place to stay if Omaha does have something for me! I will be in Omaha in June for the Soul2Soul tour....any chance you are going to it?

Ary,
Not me, but I think it's one a friend mentioned being willing to take my son to. Now I need to ask her again the name of the group, I think it was something with soup in the name. My daughter also mentioned some tour that had 3 bands playing, is that it? It also depends on when in June, around mid-June, we'll be heading to Texas to register my daughter for classes in the fall and visiting family.

Wow, that is unusual to have a clinic devoted to something that specific and yet not have it at the university in Des Moines. Yeah, it's a long drive, but you're right, if they can help that's where to go. Besides I think it is the place with the outlet mall so then you can go shop!

Good luck! LJC

The Soul2Soul tour is Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.....it is June 15 (I think) My sister and I are going.
Shopping is always a good thing....I did way too much of it my last 2 weeks off work during recovery....My reasoning was the walking was good for me right?? As if we need a reason to shop!

Ah, no wonder I was unfamiliar with it. I'm not much (any) into Country music. Occasionally like the one or two songs that cross over to the pop side, but otherwise not so much. I had a roommate in college who LOVED it, it was her stereo and when she was mad at me, she'd blast the C&W stuff till the cows came home. LOL Enjoy the concert! LJC
