What to expect or ask for

Certain times of the months I can look almost 3 to 4 months prego. My surgery is scheduled for Aug 21 so I also have read a lot about ovaries taken I have a lot of pain when I ovulate with my left ovary and my ultra sound showed cyst and my left and one that had ruptured and my lef ovary was enlarged but my OBGYN said this is normal and he was going to leave both ovaries. I am just wondering if they should take a closer look at the ovary that is causing me trouble?

I think that your dr should be willing to look at the troublesome ovary if you request it.
I hope that it all works out and you get to keep your ovaries, having your own natural hormones is so good

I am having my LSH Monday and yesterday at my pre-op me and my Dr. talked about my right ovary (which gives me a lot of trouble). She wanted to know if she wanted me to take it..... Because I am young (37) I am worried about hormone issues and told her I wanted to leave it up to her. But I would like to have it removed if she thought it could still give me trouble if I were to leave it.

I may change my mind before Monday- but I am trusting her judgement as of right now. But as it stands right now, she will make the decision once she is in there.

BTW.... I am SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED to have this over!!!!! I think I am a freak because I am not nervous at all..
