wait vs hysteroscopy vs hysterectomy

I had a endo. biopsy last week. This all started back in July I had my yearly exam and blood test. My blood test for estrogen came back at 385 and I am 53 so it should a lot lower my doctor did another test down to 285. So I had a ultersound and a viginal ultrasound that should endo. thickening of 12mm,cyts on the right ovrary,and fibroids,and a small endometrail polys.

My doctor rerred me to gyneologist. He did another ultersound and blood test. Estrogen is back down to 45 and my other blood work showed that I am close to menopause.

He did a endo biopsy last Tuesday for thickening of linning and the polyos. Everthing came back not cancer.

Here is my quesiton He said that 1-waite and see 2-He could see if cysts is there and do a Hyesterocopy 3-Hysterectomy.

I have not a period in two months and I am bloated and miserble.

I am going back to my regular doctor on 10-3 and the Gyno. Doctor will go over everthing.

I am leaning for the hysterectomy. He kind of left it up to me.

I just do not want end up doing everything else and still end up with a hysterctomy before or after menopause.

Hysteroscopy could help with diagnosis, and is a fairly easy procedure. It may be a hysterectomy is not necessary, at least now. You would have a better idea after a hysteroscopy; is a d and c part of the plan? It's best to gather a bit more information before proceeding to a major surgery. There may be other options, less invasive.
