Bowel Prep - What to expect??

I started my period in the middle of my bowel prep- the period from hell too I might add, with a migraine as a chaser. Cant wait for it to be tomorrow afternoon

Well, I wolfing down a pizza right now cause I don't know when I'll be able to eat again. I haven't really eaten much in the last two days (anxiety?) so I thought I'd better eat so I'm not starving in the morning. To all my fellow crappers (LOL) Good luck and big hugs!!

That's exactly what happened to me 1h after drinking the first 5 oz. I was so cold that I could not stop my teeth from chattering - had to turn the heat on and curl up under a blanked. This lasted about 1h and then it was all over - strange.

Good luck to everyone. My doctor prescribed osmoprep since I take blood pressure medication. It's 4 tablets every 15 minutes for 2 hours total. On prior surgeries I had the mag. citrate. I've just started my second hour of pills. I'll have an enema tonight and he said to use a medicated douche tomorrow morning before arriving at the hospital at 5:30am.

I am doing the Mag Citrate right now. Got the grape flavor. Tastes a lot like grape Nehi that someone dumped some salt into. Not as bad as I expected but certainly not great!

I used a big slab of Vaseline. Have always used it anytime anyone has had diarrhea.

I have a bad knee. My next surgery will be a TKR. It's been locking up on me more than usual the last few days. It suddenly occurred to me...what if it locks up on me on a mad dash to the commode?! =o

Oh my! Let's hope that knee stays nice and flexible!!!! I am on my second package of this cranberry crap. I could barely get it done. Can't stand the fizzy stuff! Anyways, the first round wasn't too bad but heard it's the second round that's the killer.

Last time I did this, I had kept the mag citrate in the fridge, which helped, but I like the Sprite idea, that stuff is truly gross. Gotta take mine in an hour or two... Agh! Good luck to you!

And you as well. My tummy is rumbling and I have to go every 30 to 45 minutes. Just gushes out. I'm burning down there a bit and the wipes don't really help but what can you do. This time tomorrow it will be all over, thank goodness!!
