preop was this am

Hi, I just got back from my preop. It was quick and painless. No bowel prep for me, no food after midnight Tuesday and be at the hospital at 6:30am Wednesday. Surgery is scheduled for 8:30 and they expect it to last 2 hours. I kind of wish I could have just stayed and done it today!

Good luck to you...I'm a Wednesday gal, too! Mine is scheduled for 1:00...have to be at the castle at 11:00.....no bowel prep for me either (guess we got lucky, huh?).....I'll be thinking of you. Have a happy recovery!

I've got 1st Preop today at 2, then another one on Thurs. at 2. Then it's on to the show next Monday at 7am. We're going to make it. We're going to make it. You know I've learned somethings through this adventure. The one lesson I like the most is that I'm not alone. How about you. I think that just being able to talk helps so much. I would be driving my DH and family nuts, but instead .....

Good luck to you, I am sure all will turn our Great.,.. I had my pre-op Friday, Tomorrow is my day, I am not scheduled until 2:00pm so it's going to be fun playing the waiting game with no food and water....Lucky you-no bowl prep-I'll be having that fun tonight..wish me luck

Good luck, Ladies. I'm two weeks Post op and I can say that being afraid for almost a year was WAY worse than the surgery itself.

Sounds great. I wish you the best and can't wait to read your story. I would be very lost without this board. Yeah, and DH would be crazier than he is! He is NOT dealing well with this. So the less I burden him with details, the better!
