How to ask for help?

Mairbel,

Everything that you said in your post, is pretty much exactly what my dr told me. He is pretty confident that he will get me through the hormone changes, with a low dose HRT. He told me about all the studies, and such, like I said, he told me everything you mention in your post.

He is not interested in letting his patients go for a roller coaster ride, he wants every day begining with the day of surgery to be smooth sailing. So he is willing to work and work until him and the patient finally find something that works.

That is his plan for me, a low dose HRT to start, and take it from there. Then when I reach menopause age, he will walk me through that part too.

But I have a very good dr who I have complete faith and trust in. He has never turned me in the wrong direction.

How to ask for help?

my doctor also recommends the low dose patch...she doesn't want me to use HRT longer than 5 yrs(I'm 48). She says she will start me on a low dose and "wean" me off of it......

As much as i have been suffering with all the problems caused by these fibriods...HRT doesn't seem so bad.

Good luck to you.
