Are you ever ready?

I keep finding things to do. I just finished mowing, vaccuming again and washing cloths. I guess it helps to keep busy. My husband is trying to finish cultivating the corn. I still have shopping to do and had to visit my sister who is sick. Church tomorrow and then I will just camp out here at this site until time to go to bed and up at 4:30 to get to the hospital at 7AM we live about 2 hours away if we make all the stop lights right.

Thanks to everyone, you are great, so nice to have a place to go and talk without boring everyone about your problems.

Are you ever ready?

You can always find one more thing that needs to be done. Try not to worry. Life takes care of itself. The hardest part truly is the waiting so it is good to keep busy.
Good luck with your surgery. I hope tomorrow goes by quickly for you.

Are you ever ready?

Hi ((( Wendy )))

It sounds like you're ready and tired ! Really, do try to just rest and relax today. I took a nice long hot bath the night before my surgery and it helped a lot.

A 2 hour drive - I hope that you do make the lights just right.

You'll be in my prayers. Best wishes.

Are you ever ready?

Sure--Don't believe me? Look at my username!

Seriously, does the work in your house EVER get "completely" done? Can you ever look around and honestly say there's nothing that needs to be done? Truth is, your day will come and it will go regardless of the condition of your house, job, family, etc. I know how crazy I was trying to get ready the days before surgery. (Mine was originally scheduled for summer, but moved up because one of the fibroids was growing so fast.) I didn't get everything done, but when I came home from the hospital, it really didn't matter. You may have to close your eyes to the dust bunnies for a while, or get your family to help, but that just isn't what's important--YOU are what's important right now! Good luck with your surgery!
