Countdown!

20 days!

I feel like all I have ever done is countdown for this hysterectomy, and I have only know about it for little over a week!

That's funny. I've been counting down since it was 39 days. It's really dragging on I think the counting is making it worse..lol.

ladies...it is good to have the right frame of mind...I think my uterus knew it's days were numbered...really don't miss it either lol when i finally got my date, I suprised the dr by doing a happy dance...just think, the end is near and in a good way!

19 days to go!!!

Oh my I don't know how I missed the 20 day countdown post...but I did. I was shocked to see it down to 19 days already I scheduled my surgery in January so my countdowns started like "2 months until surgery" then it was 7 weeks, 6 weeks....Counting down by weeks is not NEARLY exciting as counting down by days!!!

I took a hint from some other posts online and I am going out with some friends tonight to celebrate my upcoming surgery. Guess what we are going to go do? (my screen name is a huge hint!!!!) I'm really pumped.

Yes, everyone have a great weekend. I am going to the movies and out to eat!

18 days girls!!! I am almost...excited? I am definitely ready to get this over with!!!

Had a great time out last night. A whole bunch of us went karaoking. We did, as a group, Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was a RIOT!!! Exactly what I needed!!!

How did your weekends go? How are you feeling about the surgery coming up so soon? Only two more weekends with a uterus.

Two more weekends with a uterus That is so funny. Hmmm, let's see - only one more payday with a uterus, only one more grocery shopping trip with a uterus, only 18 more days with a uterus! That is just too funny.

We went to the movies yesterday and had a good time. We also went to church this morning and that put a LOT of things into perspective. I don't feel as anxious anymore. Just....excited How weird to think something like this could be exciting!

I totally get you with the excited thing. that's why I put a ? after when I said it. After having spent so much time scared to death this peace is almost odd. But VERY welcome. At this point I only worry about getting everything done before I go. I figure I won't be sleeping much the night before, so worst cast scenario it'll be an all night cleaning night with a late night run to super walmart if I decided I need anything!!!

What did you go see at the movies?

We went to see 10,000 BC -- uh oh, is this starting another subject It was pretty good, I won't spoil it for you by telling you about it if you decide to see it.

As far as stuff to do before surgery, I keep adding things to the list. I suppose I have to stop at some point. I mean, really, do those things HAVE to be done. Probably not, but it will just make me feel more relaxed if they are. But for you, Annessa, since you will be caring for yourself you probably want to get all that done.
