Other sisters from the natural state

I would really like to connect a local in state group of women together who can be a local support system for each other. I have learned that this is always easier to survive and live with when you have a great support system. Just wondering g if we had any other Arkansans on here

I am from Arkansas. Surgery is not until Nov 2013

I had mine August 23rd only have one ovary left. The first four days were good then I got a fever tried oral antibiotics at home for four days then was admitted to hospital. Finished my round of antibiotics and two days later I got another infection. I think my recovery would have been better if I had a stay in hospital after my surgery. It took the doctor 3 & 1/2 hours then I was sent home 2 hours after. I joined this site because I am a nurse in that hospital and have had lots of patients after there surgery but never know the out come of recovery. So I was not expecting to be so emotional after the surgery. I do know one day I'll say it was the best thing I ever did but right now not sure.

We should be friends, my surgery is not scheduled until Nov 18, 2013. I am nervous, scared and all of the above. Good luck on your surgery.

I fixed it. Thanks for pointing that out.

Mine was sep 9th, infection after 1 week,, antibiotics for ten days, still bleeding, Pain and cramping omgosh !!! Soo ready to feel better !!!
